WEBSITE ACCESS AND FUNCTIONALITIES
Transmed has embarked on a movement, doing electronic business and moving away from the paper trail and manual process.
Service providers can submit their claims using one of the following options:
  • EDI – which is the preferred submission process
  • E-mail
  • Fax
  • Post.
Prevent claims from becoming stale by submitting it within four months of the service being rendered. For more information please log into www.transmed.co.za.
We want to encourage our providers to register on the Transmed website where you will have 24-hour access to:
  • 2016 benefit information
  • Doctor/practice claims and processed information
  • Claims statements
  • Member profile information, including benefit plan
  • Submit enquiries and much more.

Transmed provides a 24-hour pre-authorisation line to providers and members to assist and provide guidance when necessary before admission.
