All discipline groups (excluding hospitals) can now send their claims in real-time to Bestmed.

The QEDI code for claims is still 045P and the MediSwitch Destination code BEBE0000.

Practices sending claims to Bestmed via MediSwitch can now receive online, real-time responses before patients leave the consulting room and, if there is any shortfall, the practice can advise the patient immediately. This reduces the practices’ financial risk and decreases their admin burden by providing greater management control which ultimately improves cash flow.
