Mediswitch SwitchComm Plus
Mediswitch have indicated that all versions of their communications software prior to SCP will be phased out within the next few months in favour of the current version. Their communications software is used to transmit batches (Send/Receive) from your practice to their servers.
We’ve seen in happen at some practices that their existing software simply stops working.
Understandably this is a major issue, as in a number of cases:
- Practices will have to change from dial-up to broadband internet access
- Computers must be running Windows XP or higher (hardware might need to be upgraded)
- Medinol Dentists will need to update their EDI Create software for adjustment in lab fee totals as required by SCP
