The following changes are effective from 01 January 2013
Momentum Ingwe has discontinued the Network and State Capitation options of Carecross and Primecure.
Members can now choose between Ingwe Network hospitals and State hospitals as their hospital provider, and Ingwe Primary Care Network Providers for their chronic and day-to-day benefits Momentum Access has discontinued the Network Capitation options of Primecure, Medicross and Carecross. Topmed has introduced the Savings Plus option Universal Care will now be processing claims for: Bestmed : The following options of Bestmed to be switched directly to PPN for Optometric claims. Discovery Health has introduced two new plans : Classic Comprehensive Zero and KeyCare Access. University of KZN Medical Scheme now has a KeyPlus Plan Prosano Medical Scheme merges with the Bonitas Scheme : new option BonClassic replaces the ProClassic option from Prosano Pharos Medical Scheme introduces the Active Saver option. The Rainbow Primary option has been discontinued and members moved over Medihelp introduces Dimension Prime Network options. The Network is specific to hospitalization and members on the Network options Sizwe introduces the Affordable Save option GEMS dental options will be routed to Primecure Bonitas : THE Boncap options is moving from Primecure to Medscheme. Optometry claims will be routed to Opticlear and Dental Nampak: Members of this scheme have moved to Discovery Health (This has been put on hold till March 2013) Bankmed: Introduces a new CareCross option – Bankmed PMB Carecross Health introduces a new scheme Domesticare Eyethumed has been discontinued effective end Dec 2012 |
