Dear Medinol User
Problem: REJECTED CLAIMS
At the beginning of August 2017, claims sent via MediSwitch were rather suddenly rejected with a D133 error message – relating to dispensing fee calculation.
This primarily affected Discovery claims.
Investigating further it was found that MediSwitch had started implementing validation of the dispensing fee in the batch file.
This was done on the quiet without anyone being informed.
The Solution: UPDATE SOFTWARE Rather than undergoing prolonged debate and re-accreditation, we at Medinol decided to implement this by updating the batch creation process to conform to their new spec.
What you need to do right now: 1.Send us a reply email 2.Let us know the preferred time for Teamviewer access
What we will do: 1.Schedule a link-up date/time with you. 2.We will update your data and software via Teamviewer.
Costs: The fee for this software service update is R300.
Urgency: Urgent action on your part is urgent right now to avoid Discovery and other scheme claim rejections when the dispensing fee validation is reinstated by MediSwitch.
It is vital that you give this matter your urgent attention.
