How is one able to process a claim reversal?

Answer 1.
If the claim had only just been submitted via Mediswitch, Healthbridge or Datamax then you can call up the Helpdesk and ask for the claim of batch to be held back. This gives you the opportunity to unflag the batch, unflag the claim and then resubmit to you EDI carrier.
Answer 2.
If the claim has already been processed by your Carrier and you have received feedback, you will have to contact the medical aid’s claims department, and ask them to not process, or reverse the claim.
